What is an event?

An event is any kind of occasion, whether it is social, academic, artistic or sports-related. Socialmetrix Eventia can be used to monitor: conferences, elections, concerts, shows, television programs, soccer matches, other kinds of sporting events, etc.

What is an entity?

It is a unit that can be configured in order to be monitored. A unit can be: a public figure, a TV program, a conference room, a lecturer, etc. For each entity (depending on the package chosen, between 5 and 10 entities can be monitored at a time), a color, image and group of terms can be selected to be monitored. The color of the entity will make it possible to identify it in all of the graphs in the interface. The group of terms can consist of up to 15: #hashtags, Twitter users and keywords.

What is the difference between packages?

The platform is the same and does not vary according to the package selected. The only differences between packages are: the number of days of monitoring, the number of entities monitored and whether access to the interface is public or private.

What is the difference between a public and private link?

When acquiring an event with private link, there will be an access control that will force users to log in to see the user interface. In case of an event with public link, it is not necessary to be authenticated, allowing you to share the url without need of authentication.

How often are graphs updated?

It depends on the graph. The evolution graph that displays the last 15 minutes is updated every 30 seconds. The evolution graph that displays the last 24 hours is updated every 30 seconds. The list of Tweets, Top hashtags and the most active Users are updated every 10 seconds.

Can I customize the user interface?

Yes, it is possible to upload your company’s logo and those of sponsors. In addition, for each entity it is possible to select a color, associated image and search terms.

Can I display the logos of my event’s sponsors?

Yes, it is possible to upload and show up to 8 sponsor logos.

Can I upload my company’s logo to the platform?

Yes, it is possible to upload your company’s logo to the platform.

In what languages can I view an event interface?

Portuguese, Spanish and English. The charger interface of the event can also be viewed in the same 3 languages

What states can an event have?

An event can have 3 states: Pending, Active or Finished. A Pending event is one that has not yet been initiated (it could have all of the data ready for initiation or could be incomplete). An Active event is one that is online and being monitored. Lastly, a Finalized event is one that has ended.

Does the service include the delivery of reports?

Yes. Upon finalizing an event, you will receive an e-mail with a web address where you will be able to download a report containing general and specific information obtained during monitoring of the event.

Do I need to install anything on my computer to access the information?

No. Socialmetrix Eventia works as SAAS, which means that you will be able to access the tools from any device connected to the Internet, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How do I access the platform?

To access the platform, it’s necessary to enter a URL address on the Internet and create a username and password.

How does the platform work?

The platform captures information from Twitter, which is monitored according to the configuration set up by the user. This information is displayed visually through different types of graphs, in real time.

In what countries is the service available?

Socialmetrix Eventia is currently available in all countries. For the time being, the interface is only available in: Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Once I sign up for the service, when will I be able to enter the platform?

Access to Socialmetrix Eventia is immediate. Once the purchase of a package has been made, you can enter the platform and configure it.

How soon will information be revealed?

Socialmetrix Eventia begins monitoring information from the moment the event is activated. It’s the client that decides the day and hour of activation.

How can I sign up for the service?

You can sign up for Socialmetrix Eventia through the Socialmetrix Web site. The purchase of a package can be done online. However, should you prefer to speak to a member of our sales team, you’ll find all of our contact information on the Web site.

What happens to the information when the event is finalized?

Information is no longer monitored and a report containing general and specific information on the event is generated.

How to re-use an event?

The “Re-use Event” feature allows you to copy an event settings from a completed event to a new event (previously you will have to buy a new package with the same number of entities or more). These data settings can be edited, allowing you to easily import your event and customize them as required, being a great feature for reoccurring events.

How to visualize correctly the tool on big screens?

To optimize Eventia’s visualization on widescreen screens, it is convenient to use a resolution bigger than 1354 pixels of width, and with the browser in widescreen mode. This guarantees that all the elements should enter on screen without need of scroll.
