We are very proud to be one of the 15 finalists in La Red Innova’s competition of start-ups. Thanks and congratulations to the other companies that, along with Socialmetrix, will participate in the event in Madrid.

11/6/09 – Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fifteen Latin American companies selected as finalists in the Start-ups Competition to take place at the event La Red Innova in Madrid have been announced. The enterprises, each based on new technologies, will participate in the first innovation, technology and Internet meeting on the 17th and 18th of June. At the final in Madrid, 3 winning projects will be selected. The fifteen companies will appear in Madrid before a jury presided by Alejandro K. Mashad, Executive Director of Endeavor Argentina (president of the jury); Manuel Silva, Department of Corporate Innovation, BBVA; Juan Manuel Casco Nieto, Director of the Department of Innovation, Caja Madrid; Pedro Iniesta, Direction of Innovation, Telefónica Latinoamérica; Pamela Hartigan, Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Said Business School – University of Oxford; Rodolfo Lara, Head of Technology Pioneers and Knowledge Integration, World Economic Forum; Damián Voltes, CEO, Patagonia Ventures. The three major Latin American start-ups will also have the opportunity to present their projects in the main auditorium.

The Fundación Endeavor Argentina coordinated the project, inviting other Latin American offices to participate in this joint regional initiative. They were responsible for the selection process of the 15 winning companies.
